Sales Executive

We are looking for a passionate Sales Executive to help us strengthen our e-commerce business activities in the Netherlands. You will represent our company in the market, support our customers from various industries and contribute to the expansion of the Asendia product portfolio. You work with our customers to develop individual solutions for international parcel shipping. You will track down interesting market trends within e-commerce that will help us expand our strong position in the cross-border business. You will use your in-depth experience and understanding of the e-commerce value chain to your advantage, both internally and externally. Ultimately, you’ll help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth. If you have excellent communication skills and you think that supporting potential e-commerce customers with our services and products sounds like a great thing, we’d like to meet with you.

Your Tasks

 

Actively seek out new sales opportunities through sales actions, networking and social media
Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objective
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs within the Benelux e-commerce market
Close cooperation with our head offices in Bern and Paris and other regions within the group
Proposal preparation together with our Commercial Department to ensure our margin targets are met
Participation in the preparation of budgets, ensuring that budget objectives are achieved

 

 

 

Your Profile

 

You have a strong track record within International Sales and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area.
You have a strong understanding of IT solutions within e-commerce
You are interested in working in international e-commerce logistics, curious and always looking for ways to bring efficiencies to a process.
Your strong communication skills ensure the capability of working with people of various nationalities, on varying levels of hierarchy
Consultative sales and negotiation skills with a good understanding of numbers.
Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
You are fluent in English and Dutch
